Ian Hacon, Founder of Yellow Brick Road, has taken up an exciting role as Director of Corporate Affairs and Hospitality for the 4-day Ari Festival Event, planned for June 2017 in Great Yarmouth.

The role, which is part time and incorporated into Ian’s existing routine, is designed to help other organisations maximise their exposure over the Festival weekend and beyond.

Ian said, “I am absolutely thrilled to take up this role. It’s an honour for me, a person who has lived in Great Yarmouth all my life, to get involved in such a prestigious project. With a full schedule of day and night time events and full hospitality marquees, there is sponsorship and corporate entertaining opportunities for companies of all shapes and sizes.”

He went on to say “We are also planning a community angle around ex-forces personnel and STEM and hope to run “An Audience with” type event in the run up too. I’m now in a listening phase to find out what sort of packages and plans companies would be interested in.”

David Marsh of the GY Bid, who are planning the show, said “It’s great to have Ian on board the team, as the Ex-President of the Chamber of Commerce and a successful businessman, he’s well known in the region. We hope that he can attract some great national, regional and local sponsors to help make the event a great success. Whilst we are running the show for the first time in 2017, we plan to run it for a least 3 years.”
